Traditions are strong. Especially when it comes to food. We’ve built our company around creating modern traditions with old-school techniques — raising livestock and getting back in touch with the land and the entire food ecosystem. We’re proud to feed Canadians and even more proud to give back. That’s why we’ve partnered with a key group of charitable organizations that give back to the less fortunate of our friends and neighbours.
CHEFS’ TABLE SOCIETY OF BC
Through various events (such as Brewery & the Beast) and activities we’re committed to supporting our culinary community. The Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia is a province-wide collaborative effort to create a foundation for the exchange of information between culinary professionals. Supporting innovative and sustainable programs that inspire, educate and nurture chefs.
BREWERY & THE BEAST
Simply an incredible celebration of local food, drink and culinary concoctions from the west coast. Brewery & The Beast is a gastronomic experience where guests enjoy the freshest local ingredients and inspired dishes prepared by the best chefs in each city. In addition, the event provides funding and support to local and national industry based foundations, charities, and scholarships — including the Chefs’ Table Society of B.C.
POTLUCK CAFÉ SOCIETY
The mission of the Potluck Café Society is to transform lives by creating jobs and providing healthy food for people living in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Also, the catering side of the business employs neighbourhood residents — helping people regain their confidence, skills, and economic independence.
